About the Conference
Democracy in Action at Salwan
As part of RYS's school outreach programme, a series of Mock Lok Sabha sessions were organised at Salwan Public School, Gurugram between 2019 and 2021. These in-school events brought the parliamentary simulation experience directly to students from Classes 9 to 12, bridging the gap between classroom civics and experiential learning.
These sessions helped establish RYS's footprint in Gurugram and built a community of trained young parliamentarians outside of the Delhi-Ghaziabad belt.
