Bringing Democracy to the Youngest Learners
In August 2024, Rajdhani Yuva Sansad launched two new junior outreach programmes at Silverline Prestige School, Ghaziabad:
Yuva Sajhedari 1.0 — A one-day conference for ~100 students of Classes 5–7 featuring 4 committees. Students were introduced to Parliament, the United Nations, and Press concepts in an age-appropriate format focusing on leadership, teamwork, and dialogue.
Bal Sansad 1.0 — A one-day programme for ~150 students of Classes 3–5, the youngest participants in RYS's conference history. With 4 vibrant committees, children explored public speaking, critical thinking, and collaborative decision-making.
These inaugural editions laid the foundation for RYS's commitment to reaching young minds at the earliest possible stage, nurturing democratic values from childhood.
